Have you ever considered retiring in Mexico? Have you wondered about daily living in a foreign country where you don't speak the language? What about hotels, hospitals, doctors, restaurants, banks, real estate and cultural activities? This is a diary of my daily life in Lake Chapala and other areas of Mexico. I don't speak Spanish. I am a single retired woman. I hope this blog will give you an idea of what to expect if you decide to make the move.

The End of Another Beautiful Day in Ajijic

My friend, Anita, had her birthday party today at La Nueva Posada. It was great fun. Twenty women were there to celebrate with her. The mariachi group played for us. I didn't put photos online. I didn't get a chance to ask her if she minded. I did take more sunset photos after the party.
Hi Cheryl, Thank you and thank you for writing to me. I am looking forward seeing you both again. Maybe one of these days I will make it to the hummingbird place. Now I am planning what to do when my family arrives. Thinking of you and Billy reminded me, that would be a good place to show them. Thanks, Patricia
